Two Easy (and Free!) Ways to Beat Those Wisconsin Winter Blues
Sure, the weather is showing a few signs of spring, but those of us who have lived in Wisconsin long enough know that winter is likely far from over. After many long, cold months, we’re all longing for permanent summer fun. Until the sunshine is permanently shining, here are two easy (and best of all – free!) ways you can beat those remaining Wisconsin winter blues.
1. Play along in our Kelmann March Madness pool
Whether you’re a huge college basketball fan or couldn’t toss a ball if you tried, the Kelmann March Madness pool is a just-for-fun way to participate in this season’s big sporting event. Embrace the excuse to stay inside, turn on the tube, and play along with us. The prizes are pretty great, too.

2. Join us at the Battle of the Badges event
Come April, get out of the house and bring your whole family downtown to Battle of the Badges. Join the Kelmann team along with Wisconsin fire fighters, police officers, their families and friends as the Fire Hockey Team battles the Police Hockey Team at the Panther Arena on Saturday, April 11. The two games begin at 12pm and 2pm.
Your attendance at this event means you not only support the two teams, but you support all of our amazing first responders. PLUS, proceeds go to the charities closest to our hearts: Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth, Ignite the Spirit MKE, Honor Flight and Cops and Kids Foundation.
BONUS: Your ticket for the two Battle of the Badges games is also good for the Milwaukee Admirals game at 6:00 PM.
The Kelmann Cares Foundation is hosting an “After Party” fundraiser supporting our local police and fire departments at the Miller High Life Theater (attached to the UWM Panther Arena).
