Tree Damage House Restoration in Oconomowoc, WI
What Happened
A late summer storm caused a tree to fall on a lake home in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The tree and many branches broke through the home’s roof causing exterior damage as well as interior damage from rain that fell through the destroyed roof and into the home.
What We Did: Storm Damage Restoration Services
The Kelmann Restoration emergency response team was able to be on site and start cleaning up the damage right away. A big part of this project was removing of all the homeowners’ belongings and safely transporting them to our Contents Restoration facility in New Berlin, WI. There, the contents were examined, cleaned, restored, and placed in our large storage crates for the duration of the project.
The homeowners used this disaster as an opportunity to remodel their home to better age in place. They chose to expand the garage to accommodate three cars, convert an office on the main level into a master suite, move the laundry room from the basement to the main level, and turn their existing deck into a three-season room with a fireplace to enjoy the beautiful lake view. Our Reconstruction team crafted the home, turning the homeowners’ vision into a reality.
